I was at the store today, and it really does smell like a sewer. They try to mask the smell with pine cleaner, and the combination of scents is terrible.

Do not shop here, I been going here for many years but this the last time. On multiple occasions I have bought here the experation dates are far from when you buy the food but it’s goes bad in a couple days. Just bought some cheese 2 days ago ate it and got food poisoning now i go to check cheese and it has mold. I on occasion I bought fruit amd food and it’s bad besides everything being expensive it’s bad or goes bad quick. Do not buy from here if you don’t want to end up in hospital. Or get new management or better food or upgrade refrigerators or a better supplier.

Customer service can Improve. I bought this Salsa, taste Horrible, I know customer service in this store is bad, So I dint even try to talk to them. Just Not buying these Horrible salsas Any more. Update 10/08/24 "In the past, I've had bad experiences with this store. The reason I keep visiting is out of convenience. Yesterday, I stopped by to buy some trays of meat, and the service I received wasn't the best. Every time I asked the person attending me for an item, it seemed like they weren't happy to serve me. But the worst part was seeing another employee at the butcher shop being extremely rude to a lady who was also ordering meat. The young man was making faces and responding rudely. They really need to improve if they want customers to keep coming here."

I went to buy tomatoes, Serrano peppers etc etc. Everything was charged correctly except for the peppers I clearly got about 2 pounds of papers at $1.99lb and was charged for 4 pounds of peppers being $8.34. In comparison to the actual 4 pounds of tomato that I got, it clearly wasn’t $8 worth of peppers. I didn’t think much of it as she (Yami) didn’t tell me my total just waiting for me to swipe my card. We drove off and were in a hurry which I was checking my receipt half way through the drive and realized. With inflation going on I will speak of it in any way. Taking an extra $6 away from me which in todays date could very much help towards getting more groceries worth my buck.

Best Arrachera meat in NW suburbs! Not sure where everybody else gets their skirt steak but theirs is by far the leanest and freshest. I've tried many stores in St Charles and Elgin and they just don't compare! The meat counter is staffed well so you get served kind of quick and they offer a lot of authentic meats, too, e.g. cow tongue:) My only issue with this place is the darn flies in the store.....and of course the steak prices:(
